Testimonials from Our Customers:
New Furnace & AC 2015
I have never taken the time to write a review, but feel I must express my complete satisfaction for a job well done from start to finish!! For once in quite a long time I was pleasantly surprised to find that in today’s world we can still find honest, hard working people with exceptional workmanship!! That’s a rarity these days!!
We had a new hi-efficiency Trane furnace and AC installed in 2015. Mr. Bruce Pour owner of Econo Air and an engineer by profession was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly Bruce was extremely patient in answering all my questions/concerns. Due to the location of the furnace the installation of the return air duct along with the fresh and vent pipes was not going to be easy. However, Bruce assured me that his installer Masoud was going to make it work. Well Bruce was right. Masoud was truly exceptional as he was so meticulous in his work. He did an outstanding flawless job. In addition, all the joints in ductwork were properly sealed with aluminum tape and all drain lines were properly routed to the main drain.
Also, must point out that Anna took care of all the paper work including registration with the manufacturer and the OPA rebate.
Working with Bruce and his staff was a pleasure from start to finish. I could not be happier. Strongly recommended.
Not the biggest contractor…not the smallest….just right.
In dealing with Bruce Pour, the owner of Econo Air, we had our salesperson and technical expert all in one. He actually listened to us, went over our options with 2 heat pump manufacturers and then delivered a proposal in 24 hours that captured our needs and his best assessment of the most appropriate unit. Everything made sense to us and the process was seamless. The installers were courteous and neat and did a fine job.
If you deal with a big contractor, you are going to pay for their overhead. His price blew them away. We were disappointed with other proposals where our input wasn’t deemed important. They each sent us one option without discussing the rationale, or they added unwanted expensive extras and in one case actually forgot to include a key component of the system…………… and they took their time getting back to us.
Bruce is a true professional who patiently discussed and explained the technical aspects at our first meeting…the second was to sign the contract. I guess it helps to have a mechanical engineer as your salesperson, technical advisor and business owner.
Econoair installed a Trane Furnace and AC for us.
We have asked to start the installation at 7AM (usually a very early time for such activity). We would like to express our appreciation about the installation. First the installers were few minutes before the time we asked to start the installation. During the installation we found that the installers know what they are doing. The installers were very friendly and cooperative with me regarding some details of the installation.
We are very pleased with the service that your company provided us and we recommend your company to others. In addition both my wife and me are very pleased of the sales service that you provide us. Should you need to refer a prospective client to us to express our satisfaction please do not hesitate.
Great prices & Affordable
Great prices , products and the service was great too. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks again to Bruce and the guys at Econoair. I will be calling them when I need a new air con.
Broken Service in Summer 2011
My air condition broke down in the middle of summer when the temperature was very hot and humid. I went to the Econoair store in Richmond Hill. The sale people are very friendly. We decided to get the Bryant Central Air and have it installed in a few days. The installer are excellent and very knowledgeable.
Getting service since 2001
I bought both my Furnace and AC from Econoair. They offer the best prices and great customer service. The servicemen were on time and finished both jobs efficiently and leaving the place as clean as it was when they started. I also use them for the yearly maintenance. I would highly recommend them.
Not an easy job so got several quotes, chose another contractor and then threw them out the morning they arrived without any duct material. Had some of highly recommended firms make proposals that did not meet building codes - now that is scary. Bruce Pour came in, was extremely knowledgeable, made excellent recommendations, pre-ordered the ducting materials (no straight runs), and had team here on schedule. Installers were great, organized, careful and thorough. Best of all - heat in house is way better balanced, ducts sized properly and furnace room reorganized to give us more space. We have a quiet Trane unit. And pricing was excellent - Direct Energy quoted $11,500 without the air conditioner for the same furnace!
We had an air conditioner installed by Econoair Heating & Cooling Inc. located in a plaza in Beaver Creek Richmond Hill last summer. It was by far the most painless experience we had with a contractor. They did not have the model we bought, and they kindly gave me a free upgrade. The installer was very professional and we are extremely happy with the entire process. They even handle the government energy rebate process for us.
